Tasty Treats and Fancy Sweets

Tasty Treats and Fancy Sweets is a manufacturer of individual specialty desserts, mainly bite sized cheesecakes. Coming from an Italian family, I inherited the baking genes. I started making cheesecakes 10 years ago. It started out as a challenge to see if I could do it and then once I mastered that, I decided to expand into different kinds. I would bring my cheesecakes to family functions, but my mom would always say that they were good, but “too rich” or “too much”. I started making them into cheesecake bars (in a 9 x 13 pan), so she could have a smaller piece and it wouldn’t be too much. Then, I was in a Home Goods store one day and saw a mini cheesecake pan. My life was made! I bought two of them and went home and made 4 different kinds of cheesecake and from that moment, I was obsessed. My friends and family have been encouraging me to go into business for myself for years. I decided that if I was going to do it, this was the time to do it.
