Kimp's Kamp Resort Yaquina Bay on Dead Lake Dent Mn

Kimp’s Kamp is a small, relaxing, family resort located on Yaquina Bay on the north shore of Dead Lake in the heart of Ottertail County’s 1,000 lakes. You’ll find us three miles southwest of Dent, Minnesota on County Highway 35, about 200 miles northwest of the Twin Cities.

Dead Lake is excellent for fishing, water skiing, canoeing, sailing, and swimming. The shore line of Yaquina Bay is sandy with a gradual drop-off, providing a safe swimming area for children.

Kimp’s Kamp has Twelve 2, 3, and 4 bedroom, well-maintained, housekeeping cottages paneled in knotty-pine. Each cabin has a complete kitchen, bathrooms with showers, and all face the lake.
